The July 2026 Red-Themed Study Camp was held in Guangxi and jointly organized by the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League of China and the Department of Education of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. The program brought together nearly 140 students, university students, and teachers from Vietnam and China, including participants from Thuyloi University, Hanoi National University of Education, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities – Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City, FPT University Can Tho, the Confucius Institute, and high schools from Quang Ninh, Cao Bang, Lang Son, among others. Under the theme “Retracing President Ho Chi Minh’s Footsteps,” participants attended a thematic lecture on “Ho Chi Minh in China” at Guangxi University and visited various historical and revolutionary sites, including the Ho Chi Minh Exhibition House in Longzhou, the Nanning Yucai School Historical Site, the Vietnamese Schools Memorial House at Guangxi Normal University, the Eighth Route Army Office Historical Site in Guilin, and the Nanxishan Hospital History Museum. Through these study, research, and field-learning activities, participants gained a deeper understanding of President Ho Chi Minh’s revolutionary life and activities, as well as the support provided by the Communist Party and people of China to the Vietnamese people.

Through the activities of the 2026 “Following in President Ho Chi Minh’s Footsteps” Study and Research Camp, as part of the “Red-Themed”, the participants in general, and the delegation of teachers and students from Thuyloi University in particular, gained valuable experiences and knowledge in history, culture, language, science, and technology. The program also contributed to enhancing mutual understanding and strengthening youth exchanges between China and Vietnam. In particular, students majoring in Chinese Language had numerous opportunities to communicate and interact with Chinese youth and university students throughout their stay in China, thereby improving their language skills and gaining a deeper understanding of Chinese culture and society. It is hoped that, in the future, more delegations of teachers and students from Thuyloi University will have the opportunity to participate in similar exchange, study, and research programs, so that they can become “red seeds” who will contribute to the study, professional development, nation-building, and development of a prosperous and beautiful Vietnam.
