  • Notice on the Collection of Tuition Fees for the Second Semester of the 2024–2025 Academic Year

    Note:

    • Students shall deposit tuition fees into their ATM accounts at branches of VietinBank, PVcomBank, or Agribank.

    • When depositing tuition fees into the ATM account, students must include both the tuition fee and the card maintenance fee.
      Example: If the tuition fee payable is 3,000,000 VND, the student’s account must have 3,050,000 VND (including 50,000 VND for card maintenance). If the student does not deposit the full amount, the bank will not process the transaction, and it will be considered as if the tuition fee has not been paid.

    • If a student has deposited the tuition fee into their ATM account at VietinBank, PVcomBank, or Agribank but by the payment deadline (as stated in Section 1) the tuition fee has not been processed, they should contact the Finance and Accounting Department (Room 217 – Administrative Building A1) or send an email to [email protected] for assistance.

    1. Purpose & Significance
    • To celebrate the 80th Anniversary of the August Revolution (19/8/1945 – 19/8/2025) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (2/9/1945 – 2/9/2025).
    • To create a modern and creative playground for Thuyloi University staff, lecturers, students, and alumni, encouraging them to express their love for the homeland from a youthful and positive perspective.
    • To strengthen the Thuyloi community connection, especially in welcoming the incoming K67 cohort, and to promote the university’s image on digital platforms.
    1. Eligible Participants
    • Current and former staff, lecturers, and employees of the university.
    • Students of all training programs at the university.
    • Alumni and postgraduate students of all cohorts.
    • Individuals who have affection for Thuyloi University.
    1. Content & Format
    • Theme: “Love the Homeland – Celebrate National Day.”
    • Content: Express love for the homeland, national pride, optimism, and civic responsibility; videos are encouraged to incorporate Thuyloi University’s images and symbols.
    • Format: Short videos (maximum 90 seconds), vertical format suitable for TikTok, with clear audio and visuals. Content must not infringe copyright or violate cultural and ethical norms.
    • Videos must be sent to [email protected] along with: full name, unit of study/work, contact phone number, student ID (if applicable), video title, and description (under 300 characters).
    • The Organizing Committee will review and post approved videos on the university’s official TikTok channel for scoring.
    1. Prize Structure
      4.1. Individual/Group Category: 1 First Prize, 2 Second Prizes, 3 Third Prizes, 5 Consolation Prizes.
      4.2. Unit Category: 1 First Prize, 2 Second Prizes, 2 Third Prizes, 3 Consolation Prizes.
      4.3. Special Awards:
    • Unit with the highest number of submitted videos.
    • Video with the greatest impact (highest total interaction score).
    • First submitted and posted video.

    2. Judges’ Score (50 points):
      • Clear content and message, relevant to theme (20 points)
      • Creativity and originality (15 points)
      • Video editing techniques and presentation (10 points)
      • Compliance with duration, format, and copyright rules (5 points)
    3. TikTok Interaction Score (50 points):
      • Views (max 30 points): ≥50,000 views: 30 pts; 30,000–49,999: 24 pts; 15,000–29,999: 18 pts; 8,000–14,999: 12 pts; <8,000: 6 pts
      • Likes (max 10 points): ≥3,000 likes: 10 pts; 2,000–2,999: 8 pts; 1,000–1,999: 6 pts; 500–999: 4 pts; <500: 2 pts
      • Saves (max 10 points): ≥500 saves: 10 pts; 300–499: 8 pts; 150–299: 6 pts; 70–149: 4 pts; <70: 2 pts
    1. Implementation
      6.1. Department of Political and Student Affairs
    • Lead unit: develop plan, regulations, and guidelines.
    • Establish Organizing Committee, Judges, and Secretariat; receive and review submissions, compile results, and organize award ceremony.
    • Coordinate with related units for publicity, scoring, and finalizing results.

    6.2. Youth Union – Student Association

    • Widely promote contest to all students.
    • Guide student organizations, clubs, and groups in participating and sharing the contest on social media.
    • Appoint contact persons to coordinate with the Organizing Committee (list to be sent to P7 by August 5, 2025).

    6.3. Faculties, Centers, and Campuses

    • Disseminate plan and rules to staff, lecturers, students, and alumni.
    • Encourage and facilitate participation.
    • Monitor number of submissions from their units for collective awards and recommend outstanding entries.
    • Appoint contact persons to coordinate with the Organizing Committee (list to be sent to P7 by August 5, 2025).
    1. Timeline
    • Launch & submission period: August 1 – September 20, 2025
    • Scoring & result compilation: September 20 – September 25, 2025
    • Award ceremony: Expected in early October 2025 (as part of the K67 Freshmen Welcome Week events).

    Plan for Selecting Students to Receive the “Lê Văn Kiểm & Family” Scholarship in 2025

    Thuyloi University announces the selection plan for students to receive the 2025 “Le Van Kiem & Family” Education Promotion Scholarship as follows:

    1. SCHOLARSHIP VALUE: 15,000,000 VND per student
    2. SCHOLARSHIP CATEGORIES:
    3. Scholarship for Disadvantaged Students
      1.1. Quantity: 35 awards
      1.2. Eligibility: Full-time undergraduate students (K63–K66) who fall into one of the following categories:
    • Children of martyrs, wounded or sick soldiers, or Labor Heroes in wartime, eligible for educational benefits;
    • Orphans of both parents with no legal guardian;
    • Ethnic minority students;
    • Students from financially disadvantaged families.

    1.3. Criteria: Good moral character, determination to overcome hardship, and achieving at least an average academic and conduct performance in the 2024–2025 academic year.
    1.4. Application documents:

    • Scholarship application form (Form 1);
    • Family background declaration (Form 2);
    • Certified copies of priority documents (if applicable).

    1.5. Selection principle: Ranking will be based on the expanded GPA (including academic GPA and converted conduct score) for the academic year. In the case of equal scores, students with more difficult family circumstances will be given priority.

      2.1. Quantity: 03 awards
      2.2. Eligibility: Full-time undergraduate students (K63–K66) with outstanding academic, conduct, and extracurricular performance.
      2.3. Criteria: Academic results of “Excellent” and conduct rating of “Good” or higher in 2024–2025, plus one of the following:
    • Party member;
    • Youth Union/Association officer awarded “Five-Good Student” recognition at the city level or higher;
    • Winner of Third Prize or higher in Ministry-level or national competitions in Olympiads, Scientific Research, or Startup & Innovation in 2024–2025.
      2.4. Application documents: Scholarship application form (Form 1).
      2.5. Selection principle: Ranking based on expanded GPA. In the case of equal scores, the student with the higher academic GPA will be prioritized.
    1. Scholarship for K67 Students
      3.1. Quantity: 01 award
      3.2. Eligibility: Students admitted and enrolled in 2025.
      3.3. Criteria: Top scorer of the K67 cohort — the student with the highest total university entrance score in 2025 (based on national high school graduation exam results within the admission subject combination, excluding priority points).

    2025 Full-time Undergraduate Admissions Information

    In 2025, Thuyloi University will admit 5,350 students into 43 undergraduate programs through four admission methods:

    • Direct admission in accordance with the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training.
    • Admission based on high school academic transcripts combined with priority consideration: calculated from the average grades of all subjects in grades 10, 11, and 12 on the high school transcripts, plus priority points and points from valid foreign language certificates.
    • Admission based on the results of the 2025 National High School Graduation Examination.
    • Admission based on the results of the Thinking Assessment Test (combination K00)

    Applicants holding valid international language certificates (IELTS, TOEFL, HSK, JLPT, etc.) will have their scores converted for admission purposes or awarded additional priority points.

  • Implementation of the Evaluation of Conduct Results for Semester 2 and the Entire Course for Full-time Students Graduating in Semester 2, Academic Year 2024–2025

    Notes:

    1. The online conduct evaluation form submitted by students will only be accepted if sent via the email account provided by the University.
    2. Department of Politics and Student Affairs will grant access rights to Faculties and the International Education Center to retrieve the list of students from Cohort 60 and earlier who have completed the conduct evaluation via Google Forms.
    3. For students in Cohorts K61, K62, and K63, academic advisors will conduct the conduct evaluation through the training management accounts already provided.
    4. Faculty and Center Councils will hold meetings to review and submit the consolidated conduct evaluation reports to the Department of Politics and Student Affairs (via official letter and electronic file to: [email protected]).
